Bio.


Samantha Palmeri was born in Staten Island, New York in 1973. She received a BFA from The School of Visual Arts. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums including the Noyes Museum of Art in Oceanville, New Jersey, and the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art in Staten Island, New York. Ms. Palmeri is the recipient of several awards including an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and an Original Work Grant from the Council on the Arts and Humanities for Staten Island. She has curated solo and group exhibitions for several organizations including two contemporary art galleries that she owned and directed. Currently she lives and works in Beacon, New York.
