Bio.


Samantha Palmeri (b. 1973, Staten Island, New York) lives and works in Beacon, NY. She received her BFA from The School of Visual Arts. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums including the Noyes Museum of Art, New Jersey, and the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, New York. She is the recipient of an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and an Original Work Grant from the Council on the Arts and Humanities for Staten Island. She has curated solo and group exhibitions for several organizations including two contemporary art galleries that she owned and directed. Currently Ms. Palmeri is the Director of Beacon Open Studios, a sponsored project of Beacon Arts.
